Leon Lett's Amazing Gaffe
This one didn't really have an impact on the game, but it sure was memorable. Late in the fourth quarter of Dallas' rout of Buffalo in Super Bowl XXVI, Lett recovered a fumble and seemed destined to rumble for a touchdown. But he slowed near the 10-yard line as he attempted to watch himself on the Jumbotron. Since the Bills' Don Bebee never gave up on the play, he was able to catch the slow-footed defensive lineman, knock the ball loose and through the end zone, resulting in a touchback and an embarrassing fumble for Lett. The touchdown that wasn't would have given the Cowboys the record for most points scored in a Super Bowl game. (AP Photo/Douglas C. Pizac)
