Crushed Jaguar Dreams
The Jacksonville Jaguars surprised fans with their unlikely run to the 1996 AFC Championship game. The Jags, who had only been around for two years, stayed within one touchdown of the seasoned New England Patriots as the two-minute warning approached. Running back James Stewart was running down the field when he suddenly lost control of the ball. New England cornerback Otis Smith scooped it up and ran 47 yards into the end zone to clinch the title and crush the Jags' dream. (AP Photo/Doug Mills)
