Tim Tebow - New ... When the Jets traded for Tim Tebow and signed him to a five-year contract worth $11.25 million, the football world stopped in its tracks. The signing made little sense at the time and proved as much as the 2012 season got underway. The former Florida star found himself buried deeper on the Jets' QB depth chart than he thought and spent the majority of his time in New York on the bench. Shea Weber - Nas... The Predators put up a good fight for their disgruntled captain, giving him the moon in a 14-year, $110 million contract. However, the cards did not fall in Nashville's favor. As the NHL labor battle winds into the new year, Weber is guaranteed $13 million for the 2012-13 season and has the option to move on since his contract is devoid of a no-trade clause.
