Ranking All 45 Super Bowls

21. Super Bowl V: Baltimore Colts 16, Dallas Cowboys 13

  • Overall Quality of Play: 2
  • Competitiveness of Game: 4
  • Historical Significance: 3

An ugly game, this one is known as “The Blunder Bowl.” The teams combined for 11 turnovers, with the Colts committing seven of them. This was also the only Super Bowl in which a player on the losing team won an MVP. Chuck Howley, the Cowboys linebacker, won the award for intercepting two passes. Though it ended with a game-winning field goal, it was anything but a well-played game. (AP Photo/stf) —Peter Schrager
