7. Chris Drury, NY Rangers ($7.050 million per season)
The Rangers signed Drury expecting him to provide the kind of experienced, two-way skill and leadership that helped lift the Buffalo Sabres to Eastern Conference Final appearances in 2006 and 2007. Drury's been giving his best effort but appears to have lost a step. It's not his fault the Rangers threw a lot of money at him but he's not worth a five-year, $35.25 million contract.
