8. Carson Palmer Oakland Raiders

Pct. Dislike: 31%

Highly touted in college like Young, though with some early success. But Palmer ran into injury and attitude problems in Cincinnati, alienating teammates and developing a prima donna reputation. The Bengals did well to get a pair of draft picks from Oakland for Palmer, who hadn't been playing through this season's first seven weeks.

7. Vince Young Philadelphia Eagles

Pct. Dislike: 32%

Highly touted college player who hasn't lived up to the hype in the NFL. Young found himself in the center of controversy in Tennessee, where coach Jeff Fisher clashed with owner Bud Adams' over his status (Adams wanted Young to play, Fisher didn't). Young is now backing up Vick in Philadelphia, appropriate for the biggest boo-fest city in sports.

6. Chad Ochocinc... New England Patriots

Pct. Dislike: 35%

Your basic diva wide receiver that most fans either love or hate. Not helping: after a decade in Cincinnati, Ochocinco has struggled to get in lock step with QB Tom Brady in New England this year.

5. Jay Cutler Chicago Bears

Pct. Dislike: 38%

Sitting out a chunk of last year's NFC title game with what some thought was a minor knee injury drew a string of critics, including tweets from NFL players. Fair or not (no one but Cutler could know how much his knee hurt), critical word travels fast on social media. Cutler's earlier rifts with the coaching staff in Denver, which traded him to Chicago in 2009, didn't help his public image either.

4. Albert Haynes... New England Patriots

Pct. Dislike: 46%

Still carrying the reputation as an expensive flop in Washington, where he clashed with coach Mike Shanahan over not being shape upon signing a big free agent contract. He's been effective in New England this year when he's been on the field, which hasn't been that often.

Chasing girls at college parties got Big Ben in some hot water with the law. Even though he avoided any formal charges, his image took a hit. He seems to be making his way back, but (as with Vick) these things take some time.
