No. 14 Austin Peay came in as huge underdogs to a powerful Illinois squad in the 1987 NCAA Tournament. Not believing the Governors could win, ESPN analyst Dick Vitale said he would stand on his head if they pulled off the upset. Well, they did, stunning the Fightin’ Illini in the opening round.
