The 16 Biggest Upsets In NCAA Tournament History

2. Villanova over Georgetown

The 1985 championship game between Villanova and Georgetown seemed a lopsided matchup on paper. The Hoyas had future pros in Patrick Ewing, Reggie Williams and David Wingate, and had already defeated Villanova twice in the regular season. The Wildcats kept things close in the second half and ended the game shooting a remarkable 78.6 percent from the floor. The Georgetown dynasty lost once again in the championship game, 66-64.
