Keith Smart, Danny Manning, Tyus Edney, Bryce Drew, Lorenzo Charles, Christian Laettner and some guy named Michael Jordan. This is where they became household basketball names — the NCAA Tournament.

Every March provides an opportunity for a new name to join college basketball's royalty. Who will be this year's hero? Here are some possibilities:
