Winner: Adrian P... The Vikings running back is a freak of nature. I mean that with all sincerity. Less than a year removed from ACL surgery, Peterson rushed 23 times for 153 yards and a touchdown on Sunday in a 21-14 win over the Cardinals. He ran hard, fast, strong and again looked like his old self. And by that, I mean he looked like the best running back in the NFL. (AP Photo/Phelan Ebenhack)

Winner: Victor C... There was a possibility that Victor Cruz was a one-year wonder. He came out of nowhere last year to finish with more than 1,500 receiving yards and nine TDs. It's official now though. There is no way Cruz is a fluke. He caught a 77-yard touchdown pass from Eli Manning with less than two minutes remaining Sunday as the Giants beat the Redskins, 27-23. Cruz is third in the NFL with 627 receiving yards and tied for first with seven TDs. Nothing flukey about that. (AP Photo/AJ Mast)

Loser: Ravens' D... There is no doubt the Ravens laid an egg. They were horrific offensively and defensively in a 43-13 loss in Houston. But I'm going to let the offense slide. They're entitled to a bad one here and there. What really must concern Baltimore going forward though is this new Ravens defense. Without Ray Lewis, without Ladarius Webb and with Ed Reed and Terrell Suggs less than 100 percent, these kind of defensive efforts—420 total yards allowed, including 181 on the ground—may not be so far from the norm going forward. Winner: Aaron Ro... Look out league. The Aaron Rodgers of 2011 has resurfaced. For the second straight week, the Packers quarterback was close to perfect. This time he completed a mere 30 of 37 passes for 342 yards and 3 TDs in a comfortable 30-20 win in St. Louis. Somebody is in rhythm. (AP Photo/Tom Gannam)

Loser: Jets It was all right there for the taking. First place in the AFC East, a 3-0 record in the division and a monster upset of the Patriots in Foxboro. New England kept the Jets in the game and failed multiple times to put them away. Then they fumbled a kickoff with two minutes remaining that put the Jets one first down away from a win. Nope. Winner: Vincent ... Even though the Bucs dropped a 35-28 decision to the Saints, something's brewing there in Tampa. The Josh Freeman-Vincent Jackson connection looks like it has a bright future. Jackson, one of Tampa's key offseason signings, caught seven passes for 216 yards on Sunday against New Orleans. Loser: Cam Newto... Nobody puts less stock than me in facial expressions and postgame disappointment. But Cam Newton is really testing my beliefs. He just seems lost and took moping to a new level in the aftermath of a 19-14 home loss to the Cowboys where he again played poorly. Loser: Jacksonvi... It can't get much worse for the Jags. Jacksonville lost Maurice Jones-Drew to a foot injury, quarterback Blaine Gabbert to a shoulder injury, and blew a 14-point second half lead in a 26-23 loss in Oakland. Winner: Steelers... Missing all sorts of pieces on the offensive line and in the backfield, Pittsburgh wasn't supposed to be able to do much on the ground for the rest of this season. Then, Jonathan Dwyer. The third-year back out of Georgia Tech rushed 17 times for 122 yards, propelling Pittsburgh to a second-half comeback win in Cincy.
