Dallas Cowboys Absolute Necessity: Interior Offensive Lineman

Nate Livings and Mackenzie Bernadeau as the guards with Phil Costa at center is not going to get it done.

New York Giants Absolute Necessity: Linebacker

It's almost hard to believe the Giants won the Super Bowl last season with their linebacking unit. Even with the acquisition of Keith Rivers, a stud linebacker would could really take the Giants defense to the next level.

Honorable Mention: Offensive Tackle

Would Be Nice Addition: Running Back

Philadelphia Eag... Absolute Necessity: Safety

The offseason addition of DeMeco Ryans leaves one more glaring weakness in the middle of the defense. The Eagles (with Nate Allen, Kurt Coleman and Jaiquawn Jarrett) don't have a single proven safety on their roster.

Would Be Nice Addition: Big Wide Receiver

From Rex Grossman and John Beck to RG3. Sounds like a major upgrade.

Chicago Bears Absolute Necessity: Wide Receiver

The Bears defense is fine. It's the offense that needs to improve if they are to become a serious Super Bowl contender. Brandon Marshall was a start, but Chicago still needs more to support Jay Cutler, especially with Matt Forte's future in limbo.

Honorable Mention: Defensive End

Would Be Nice Addition: Cornerback

Detroit Lions Absolute Necessity: Cornerback

The addition of Jacob Lacey isn't even close to enough. The Lions could desperately use a No. 1 corner.

Ryan Grant remains unsigned and James Starks was a disappointment last season. A bulked up running attack would make life a lot easier on Aaron Rodgers.

Protecting Christian Ponder is going to be vital to the second-year quarterback's growth. The Vikings need to start with taking care of his blindside.

Atlanta Falcons Absolute Necessity: Offensive Line

The Falcons used to be one of the league's best rushing teams. They were in the middle of the pack last year thanks to an offensive line that struggled. Much of the blame has been pinned on left tackle Sam Baker, who is proving to be a first-round bust. But it's not all his fault. Atlanta needs help at both tackle and guard.

Carolina Panther... Absolute Necessity: Defensive Tackle

Carolina's front seven needs massive reinforcements. A defensive end to pair with Charles Johnson would be nice, but a defensive tackle who could create havoc and possibly command double teams is mandatory.

New Orleans relied on the blitz to create pressure under Gregg Williams. It would take a lot of pressure off the Saints' secondary if they had a player who could get to the quarterback naturally.

San Francisco 49... Absolute Necessity: Right Guard

Chilo Rachal signed with the Bears and Adam Snyder with the Cardinals. There's a gaping void right now on the Niners' offensive line.

Seattle Seahawks Absolute Necessity: Linebacker

The Seahawks allowed their leading tackler David Hawthorne to sign elsewhere. Barrett Ruud, Anthony Hill and Matt McCoy aren't viable long-term replacements at middle linebacker.

St. Louis Rams Absolute Necessity: Wide Receiver

Even if Brandon Lloyd didn't sign elsewhere and Danny Amendola came back healthy, the Rams would need wide receiver help. With Lloyd gone the Rams desperately need a serious player on the outside.
