Absolute Necessity: Defensive Tackle

Denver needs to replace Brodrick Bunkley, who signed a lucrative long-term deal with the Saints this offseason. Bunkley was a force in the middle of Denver's defense last season.

Buffalo Bills Absolute Necessity: Left Tackle

Demetress (former Demetrius) Bell signed with the Eagles. Putting last year's fourth-round draft pick Chris Hairston in charge of Ryan Fitzpatrick's blindside could be a disaster. Buffalo needs a left tackle with the No. 10 pick.

Honorable Mention: No. 2 Wide Receiver

Would Be Nice Addition: Cornerback

Miami Dolphins Absolute Necessity: Quarterback

Matt Moore is a fine placeholder, but after whiffing on every free agent quarterback, Miami has no choice but to turn to the draft.

New England Patr... Absolute Necessity: Pass Rushing Outside Linebacker

The best way to cure a horrid pass defense is to find someone to pressure the quarterback consistently.

New York Jets Absolute Necessity: Pass Rushing Outside Linebacker

Defense is supposed to be the Jets' strength. Their defense, however, wasn't the same last season because of an inability to get to the quarterback without blitzing. A difference-making pass rusher would put them right back among the league's top defenses and minimize the need for their quarterback to do too much.

Honorable Mention: Right Tackle

Would Be Nice Addition: Speedy Running Back

Shonn Greene has shown flashes, but he's yet to blossom into a carry-the-load type of back. Combine that with the departure of LaDainian Tomlinson and the Jets' backfield looks weak. A home-run hitting back would be perfect. (AP Photo/Nick Wass)

Baltimore Ravens Absolute Necessity: Offensive Line

Guard Ben Grubbs went to the Saints in free agency and potential replacement Jah Reid was a college tackle who may not be best suited to play inside. Starting left tackle Bryant McKinnie is 33 and center Matt Birk is almost 36. The Ravens need to start thinking of the future of their line — now.

Honorable Mention: Outside Linebacker

Would Be Nice Addition: Free Safety or Middle Linebacker

Chris Crocker was recently released and there isn't much waiting in the wings. Taylor Mays is not the answer.

Cleveland Browns Absolute Necessity: Running Back

Cleveland needs as many weapons as it can stock to increase its chances of succeeding with Colt McCoy at quarterback. That begins with running back after the Browns allowed Peyton Hillis to leave in the offseason.

Would Be Nice Addition: Quarterback

The Steelers could use a guard or tackle. With the exception of center Maurkice Pouncey, their line is filled with question marks.

Houston Texans Absolute Necessity: Outside Linebacker

Apparently Houston is in pretty good shape because its defense was solid even without Mario Williams last season. Still, a pass rushing linebacker couldn't hurt.

You name it, the Colts pretty much need it. Rebuilding begins with a quarterback (Andrew Luck).

Laurent Robinson and Mike Thomas are just not good enough, especially with a young quarterback like Blaine Gabbert in desperate need of help. To give Gabbert any chance, a huge upgrade is necessary.

Tennessee Titans Absolute Necessity: Defensive End

The signing of Kamerion Wimbley should help, but you can never have enough pass rushing defensive ends, especially after finishing second to last in the NFL last season in sacks.

The Chiefs have a talented roster. With the right quarterback — a star quarterback — they could be a serious Super Bowl contender.

San Diego Charge... Absolute Necessity: Pass Rushing Outside Linebacker

Jarret Johnson was a nice free-agent signing. He should be a quality addition against the run. Now if only the Chargers could get someone to consistently get after the quarterback. San Diego is still looking for someone who can rush the passer from the position like Shawne Merriman in his prime.

Honorable Mention: Wide Receiver

Would Be Nice Addition: Cornerback
