Scott Pioli has made great strides rebuilding the roster since becoming Kansas City’s general manager in 2009. The Chiefs also will be buoyed by the return of three of their top young players (safety Eric Berry, running back Jamaal Charles and tight end Tony Moeaki) who spent last season on injured reserve.
