The Chargers signed four veteran wideouts during the offseason (Robert Meachem, Eddie Royal, Roscoe Parrish and Michael Spurlock) after the free-agent loss of Vincent Jackson to Tampa Bay. Brown, though, shouldn’t be looking over his shoulder unless it’s for a Philip Rivers pass. Brown impressed as a rookie in 2011 with a 17.3-yard average on his 19 catches and has an excellent chance for an expanded role. -
