2012 NFL Offseason Rankings
18. New Orleans Saints
Best Draft Pick: DT Akiem Hicks (Third Round)
Key Loss: OG Carl Nicks (Bucs)
Overall: On the personnel side, the Saints were brilliant. They added two quality linebackers who are better than the suspended Jonathan Vilma, re-signed wide receiver Marques Colston, added run-stuffing defensive tackle Brodrick Bunkley and were able to offset the loss of All-Pro guard Carl Nicks with experienced starter Ben Grubbs (formerly of the Ravens). Off the field, the Saints were a disaster. Their coach, GM, middle linebacker and top defensive end were suspended as a result of the bounty program the team was running. As if the fallout from Bountyball wasn't enough, New Orleans and star quarterback Drew Brees haven't been able to agree on a new contract. (AP Photo/Chris O'Meara)
