Cyclist Cleared ... British Cyclist Will Not Be Investigated by IOC

Track cycling gold medalist Philip Hindes will not be investigated for allegedly crashing on purpose Thursday in order to get a restart.

"I just crashed, I did it on purpose to get a restart, just to have the fastest ride. I did it. So it was all planned, really," Hindes reportedly said after the race. He later said he lost control of the bike.

The move worked. Britain won the team sprint final and there will be no further investigation.
