U.S. Shines in G... Nabs Nine Medals in About an Hour
The U.S. women's track and field team started the power hour rally with gold medals from Allyson Felix, Aries Merritt and Brittney Reese.

Misty May-Treanor and Kerri Walsh Jennings chipped in by picking up their third career Olympic gold medals in beach volleyball. The Day 12 results were just what the U.S. needed to move past China in the overall medal count, 81-77.

Unusual Circumst... The Competition Gets Hectic in London

The London Games took an interesting turn on Day 11. USA Gymnastics found themselves in an abnormal spot as Aly Raisman stole the show while both Jordyn Wieber and Gabby Douglas failed to medal.

And two U.S. teams reached the beach volleyball final as April Ross and Jennifer Kessy will take on Kerri Walsh Jennings and Misty May-Treanor, who are in search of their third straight gold medal.
