Introduction Lisa Adams founded LA Closet Design five years ago to create bespoke closets for rich and famous homeowners around the world. Her client base ranges from Saudi Arabia to Australia and the firm is currently crafting closets for 24 clients. The average project runs $60,000 to $80,000. Her largest to date: a $500,000 department store-inspired three-story "closet with its own interior staircase. "The trend now is shopping in your closet and having it feel like a boutique space," explains Adams. Here's a look at some her storage-centric work.

Living Space Clo... Hollywood producer duo Robert Cort and Rosalie Swedlin had his and hers areas carved out of a 600 square foot space in their former Beverly Hills home. Maple cabinetry with leather inlay, pull out shoe shelves and shirt carousels were incorporated. Cort's section had a breakfast station with coffee maker and Sub-Zero fridge and near the door, a putting green.

Man Cave Closet The man cave-inspired closet in the 2010 Esquire House LA has stained rift oak cabinetry with custom U-shaped LED hanging rods, recessed backlit shelves and Ferragamo-inspired pulls. There is also a sneaker showcase wall.
