Minn. teen whose farewell song became web hit dies

Sobiech, the Lakeland, Minn. teenager whose song "Clouds" became an Internet sensation, died early Monday, May 20, 2013 at his home, surrounded by family and his girlfriend, according to a CaringBridge post by Zach's mother. He was 18. Sobiech, who had a rare form of bone cancer, began writing songs of farewell to family and friends last fall.
