Edward M. Kennedy dies of a brain cancer at the age of 77. Kennedy was the one who suggested the curse, saying that maybe "some awful curse did actually hang over all the Kennedys" after accidentally driving his car off Chappaquiddick Island, Mass., and killing passenger Mary Jo Kopechne.
