7. Bono and Frank Sinatra (1994)
In an awkward, nervous speech read from a crumpled sheet of paper, Bono introduced Frank Sinatra for his Grammy Legend award in 1994. Bono's four-minute ramble included lines such as, "Frank walks like America: Cocksure." A watery-eyed Sinatra remarked that the applause was, "the best welcome I ever had" before going off on a tangent about alcohol, saying, "I hope you weren't drinking all night and didn't ask me to join you. It's very dry back[stage]." He went on to express that he was upset that he was not allowed to sing a song. (AP Photo/Mark J. Terrill)- Xfinity Music Programmers
