Also known by its original R-rated title “F*** You,” Green’s hit song sounds like a spirited kiss-off to an ex-girlfriend and her new beau. In reality, however, the vitriol was meant for the studio heads at Green’s record label. “I did [the song]… to be spiteful toward the [record] label. Because it had taken about three years to do 'The Lady Killer,' and I just felt that after recording almost 70 songs I could not please them." —Jeff Royer
