Crosby, Stills & Nash, “Suite: Judy Blue Eyes”
This 1969 classic was written by Stephen Stills for his longtime girlfriend and fellow folkie Judy Collins. The couple’s on-again, off-again relationship provided plenty of fodder for Stills over the years. When asked about it by Rolling Stone in 1971, Stills replied, "Well, there are three things men can do with women: love them, suffer for them, or turn them into literature. I've had my share of success and failure at all three." —Jeff Royer
