ledhed58: Geddy Lee, owner of the worst voice in rock and roll. Curmudgeonly: I've got this overpowering urge to tell him to grow a pair, fer cryin' out loud. That, or go join the Vienna Boys Choir, if they'll have him. (Photo: Ethan Miller, Getty Images)

Gripes ListWe all have certain artists that get under our skin. Sometimes it’s because of something tangible – grating music, offensive behavior, a mouth that never seems to close. Other times it’s something less definable, a certain je ne sais quoi that just rubs you the wrong way. Regardless, it’s good – and often fun – to get these kinds of things off your chest. To that end, I started a topic on Xfinity.com’s online music forum where readers could speak their minds about the musicians that bug them the most. Here are some of the highlights. —Jeff Royer (Photos: Getty Images)

TrainOgre: Every song by this band is a crime against humanity, “Soul Sister” being the worst. Dougpug: Train really bugs me. I hate, hate, hate that freakin "Soul Sister" song. (Photo: Patrick Smith, Getty Images)

U2Tequilajoe: U2 ... which would include Bono, obviously ... is the most overrated band that ever walked the Earth. (Photo: Ian Gavan, Getty Images)

Kanye WestUnlovable: I think Kanye's an egotistical jerk and he can't rap. He should have stuck to producing beats and stuff. That's his strong suit. Ladygray: Kanye seems to have a bad attitude! (Photo: Daniel Boczarski, Getty Images)

Taylor SwiftCharlemagne: Taylor Swift with that high-pitched dog whistle about how hard it is to be her … [excuse] me while I reach for a Q-Tip. Dougpug: I had to see her in concert with my two daughters. That young lady can maybe write a catchy tune, but cannot sing. I seriously considered jamming a pen in my eardrums. Meat LoafCharlemagne: This might be unpopular but I absolutely loathe Meatloaf. For my money he has an overrated voice, doesn`t play any instrument that I`m aware of, throws his producer and collaborators routinely under the bus, is pompous and pretentious to the point of ad nauseum, is/was grossly overweight and … oh yeah … is kinda ugly. But other than that I guess he’s alright (hahahahaha) (Photo: Adam Bettcher, Getty Images)

Wayne NewtonCurmudgeonly: Wayne Newton....Barely-A-Manilow.....Michael Bolton....Those three guys are the musical equivalent of fingernails on a blackboard to my ears. I've injured myself diving for a mute button just to silence their pathetic bleating, but it was worth it. (Photo: Ethan Miller, Getty Images)

Neil YoungCurmudgeonly: Neil Young's guitar playing, or strangling, as it were … He plays OK rhythm guitar, but as soon as he tries to play a solo, it's like he's being electrocuted. His hands go all stiff, and he can't seem to keep from strangling the fret board. Listen to the song "Down by the River" to get an idea of what I'm talking about, if you can stand to. An otherwise great song, ruined by a sloppy guitar solo. "Cinammon Girl" is another one. Neil plays one note during his solo. One friggin' note … (Photo: Darren Hauck, Getty Images)

R.E.M.Unlovable: I am also convinced Michael Stipe of R.E.M. fame is really brother to Saturday Night Live's "Goatboy." It's all in the strange staccato effect of his singing voice....baaaaaaaaaaaaa. (Photo: Stephen Lovekin, Getty Images)

Chris BrownOgre: Chris Brown bugs the heck out of me, I don't think he's very talented, his vocals seem overproduced. Oh also that whole domestic violence thing, It seems people are quick to forgive such things. … (Photo: Stephen Lovekin, Getty Images)
