"Take Me Out to the Ball Game" by Jack Norworth and Albert Von Tilzer
Written in 1908, "Take Me Out to the Ball Game" is one of the most recognizable songs in American history. The tune has become the unofficial anthem of baseball, and is still sung during the seventh inning stretch of most games (perhaps most famously by former Chicago Cubs announcer Harry Caray, pictured above) – ironic considering that neither of its authors had attended a single game prior to writing it. —Jeff Royer
