The Fortune 500, Fastest-Growing Companies, 100 Best Companies to Work For... the lists go on and on. But Fortune magazine couldn't end the year without another one of its respected lists, so the global business magazine compiled a ranking of Blue-Ribbon Companies.

The twist: This one is an uber-list, based on all of the other Fortune rankings this year. Without further ado, here's a look at the top 9 companies of 2009 -- those that consistently appeared on Fortune's various lists throughout the year.
