Forbes: Homes with Notorious Histories and Criminal Pasts Come to Market

Bugsy Siegel's Family Estate

Home: Delfern Dr., Los Angeles, Calif.
List Price: $22.9 million
Listed with: Westside Estate Agency

Several L.A.-area homes linked to the mobster have graced the sale block over the past decade. The most recent: a Holmby Hills mansion he had built for the wife and kids in 1938. Siegel never reportedly moved in, though local lore suggests a raiding party stormed the place looking to pick up the mobster for the murder of Harry "Big Greenie" Greenburg.
