WORST 9. 'Lost in Space'
The CBS series “Lost in Space” aired for three seasons in the mid-1960s. The show, which is loosely based on Johann David Wyss’ novel “The Swiss Family Robinson,” was set in the future and centered around an astronaut family. In 1998, a “Lost in Space” movie starring Gary Oldman, William Hurt and Matt LeBlanc, was released. Though the movie did end “Titanic's” 15-week-long streak at No. 1 at the box office, it was panned critically. Late film critic Roger Ebert called it a "dim-witted shoot-'em-up.” —XFINITY Entertainment Staff (Photo: New Line)
