A mere 72 days after Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries tied the knot—to the tune of a reported $10 million—Mrs. Humphries filed for divorce, citing “irreconcilable differences.” Shortly after the news broke on Monday, the hashtag #ThingsLongerThanKimsMarriage went viral on Twitter as people joked about the short lifespan of the marriage with comments like, “The life of my BlackBerry Bold,” and “Her fairy tale wedding special.” Since most tweets were tongue-in-cheek exaggerations, The Daily Beast came up with its own list of things that really lasted longer.
