Marvel replaced a character in one of its franchises yet again. This time it was James Rhodes, also known as "Rhodey," in "Iron Man." Terrence Howard played the role in the first film, but Don Cheadle was chosen to play the role in "Iron Man 2." Howard said in an interview that he was shocked upon hearing that Cheadle had gotten the role. He was expecting to come back to the second movie, but Marvel thought otherwise. Marvel has never announced the reason for the replacement, but it is rumored that it was due to a disagreement over money. Supposedly Marvel asked Howard to accept a huge paycut, and the rest is history.- Xfinity Entertainment Editors
