18. Niles Crane ...Dr. Niles Crane is a Seattle-area psychiatrist and brother to famed KACL radio psychiatrist, Dr. Frasier Crane. Niles is obsessive compulsive, occasionally neurotic, often snobby and highly intellectual. For years, Niles lusted after his father's live-in physical therapist, Daphne Moon. 15. Cosmo Kramer...Often referred to simply as "Kramer," Cosmo is a "hipster doofus" once referred to as a "loathsome, offensive brute." Although he appears to be unemployed with no prospects, he always has money and often attracts women. To say Kramer is a schemer would be an understatement. To say he's a mooch would extremely accurate. Kramer lives alone in an apartment decorated with imitation wood wallpaper, but spends more time across the hall bothering his neighbor Jerry Seinfeld. 14. Roseanne Con...Roseanne Connor is the loud, bossy, dominant matriarch of the Connor clan. Although her heart of gold is usually reserved for her husband Dan, she's been known to show affection for her kids (Becky, Darlene and D.J.) when she's not screaming at them. 11. Barney Fife ...In the sleepy town of Mayberry, North Carolina, there is no one as lovable as deputy sheriff Barney Fife. Overly emotional and completely insecure, Barney masks his shortcomings by overreacting to petty violations and claiming expertise in everything from women to law enforcement. 10. George Jeffe...Once the Queens, New York neighbor of Archie and Edith Bunker, George Jefferson and his family moved on up to a deluxe apartment in Manhattan. Jefferson, who owns several dry-cleaning stores, is a quick-thinking schemer whose plans usually end in hilarious failure. George and his wife Louise have one son named Lionel. 9. Arthur Fonzar...In Milwaukee, Wisconsin, there is nobody cooler than Arthur "The Fonz" Fonzarelli. A high school dropout and former biker gang member, Fonzie begins to turn his life around after saving high school student Richie Cunningham from a group of thugs. Fonzie is feared by bullies and nerds alike, but adored by women. He also boasts the uncanny ability of "fixing" things (cars, lockers, vending machines) by punching them. 8. Homer Simpson...Homer Simpson is the bumbling, yet lovable, patriarch of the dysfunctional Simpson family. When not fully devoting himself to his wife Marge or barely attending to his children (Bart, Lisa and Maggie), Homer can be found at Moe's Tavern or sleeping on the job as Safety Inspector at the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant. 7. Fred Mertz (W...Fred Mertz and his wife Ethel are the best friends and landlords of Lucy and Ricky Ricardo. Fred and Ethel have a semi-contemptuous relationship, and often call each other names such as "fat old goat." The pair is constantly dragged into Lucy's crazy schemes and tend to be responsible for tipping off her husband. 6. Mary Richards...Mary Richards is single, independent career woman living alone in Minneapolis after breaking off a wedding engagement. After applying for a secretarial job at the WJM television station, Mary is instead hired as associate producer. 5. Ralph Kramden...Ralph Kramden is a short-tempered, yet kind-hearted bus driver for the Gotham Bus Company.
