She may have an Oscar and a 15-year film career, but it was a makeover that turned "True Blood's" Anna Paquin into Southern belle Sookie Stackhouse. "It turns out that a little spray tan and a little peroxide goes a long way," she has said. So much so that it can be hard to change back into Anna. "When she's filming her skin is really dark. When she's not, she can be really fair," said makeup artist Monika Blunder. "I never know what I'm going to get. I've used three different shades of foundation on her!"

Paquin went champagne blond to play "True Blood's" Sookie Stackhouse--and looked more glamorous than ever. "She's got the right skin tone for both dark and blond hair," said Cho. (Photo: Frank Micelotta/Emmys/Getty Images)See More of Anna's Transformation

"She got a lot of attention for that look," makeup artist Monika Blunder recalled of Paquin's SAG style. "I pulled an olive green color from the dress into the eye makeup." As for the hair: "This shape was inspired by the one and only Brigitte Bardot," Cho said. "It's half up, half down with a slight bend. She looks foxy!"
