Nobel Peace Prize Acceptance Speech
MLK received a Nobel Peace Prize on October 14, 1964 for his continued effort to stop racism by using non-violent methods. MLK was just 35 when he was awarded the prize -- the youngest person to ever receive this prestigious award. In his speech, MLK wondered how he won this prize when there was still so much segregation. MLK also stated how he was determined to widen his scope on social issues and end racism. —XFINITY Entertainment Staff
