Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cambridge was one beautiful bride. The 29-year-old Kate Middleton took makeup lessons with expert Arabella Preston, ultimately creating a soft, smoky eye with dove gray shadow. Her locks she left to the expert hands of longtime stylist James Pryce of the Richard Ward salon. "Catherine's bridal look is called the 'Demi Chignon'—an updo style which combines a classic bridal look with a regal, couture finish," the salon said in a statement. “The focus of the style was Catherine's unique and individual halo style tiara, set just back from the hairline, which determined the finished look." All we know is that she looked stunning—and that she's bound to inspire countless brides to come.
After spending several years in Amman, Jordan, the sweet-faced 5-year-old returned with her family to Berkshire, England.
