The youngest son of Don Vito Corleone, Michael is the tragic hero of the “Godfather" trilogy. The first film details his transformation from a mild-mannered young man eyeing a career in politics to the ruthless leader of the most powerful crime family in America.

Pacino went on to establish himself as one of the premier actors of his generation, with acclaimed roles in movies including “Scarface,” “Glengarry Glen Ross,” “Dog Day Afternoon” and “Scent of a Woman,” for which he won he Academy Award for Best Actor.
