Jeff Bridges' first acting role came in 1950 when he was just a baby. The uncredited role obviously didn't nab the actor any attention, but 21 years later, his part in "The Last Picture Show" earned the actor his first Oscar nomination.
The relatively unknown Bridges hit the fame jackpot after his portrayal of Duane Jackson in the film. His career took off and he is still one of the great actors in the game today.
Bridges is nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award at the 2011 Oscars for his role in "True Grit."
