Michael Paul "Mike" Brady, a widowed architect, was busy with three boys of his own when he met and married Carol Brady. He quickly became a father-figure to Carol’s three daughters. He is often regarded as one of the greatest television dads in history.
After his days playing Mike Brady came to an end, Robert Reed enjoyed success as a stage actor. He continued to make notable appearances on film and in several television series, including a turn on a 1975 episode of “Medical Center” that earned him an Emmy nomination. Reed’s last onscreen appearance was in 1992 on an episode of “Jake and the Fatman.” The actor passed away after a long battle with HIV on May 12, 1992. —XFINITY Entertainment Staff
