4. WORST: 'The Da Vinci Code'
Controversy swept the release of this film as protesters lined up outside of theaters denouncing its "sacrilegious" subject matter. The media coverage of this film, which is based on the bestselling Dan Brown novel, helped make it a commercial success as it raked in hundreds of millions.
