An exclusive Manhattan high-rise is the backdrop to this 1993 flop. Based on a novel by Ira Levn, "Sliver" stars Sharon Stone as a divorced editor and William Baldwin as her voyeuristic neighbor with some dark secrets. Although the intention was clearly to make a sexy, suspenseful thriller, the film achieves nothing but mediocrity. It's nearly impossible to find a "sliver" of entertainment in this big-screen disaster. —Xfinity Entertainment Staff (Photo: Paramount)
