Best - 'Footloos... Fans of the original 1984 Kevin Bacon classic have been in an uproar over this remake, starring newcomer Kenny Wormald and Julianne Hough. Fortunately, director Craig Brewer's fresh take (despite its nearly identical script and soundtrack) streamlines the original's drowsier moments and adds emotional depth to the story.
