Emily VanCamp as...This season, Emily’s presumed-dead mother Kara Wallace Clarke, played by Jennifer Jason Leigh, will make an appearance. Teases VanVamp, "Her mother is not going to be the most stable of characters, so it’s very possible this will affect her [Emily's] psyche and have her wondering 'How crazy am I? Am I following into these footsteps? Am I mentally unstable?' … So it will be a reflection on herself and a great way to explore her behavior. That will cause her a lot of great discomfort." Ashley Madekwe a...Ashley understands the game and knows how to play it. After taking a job with Conrad and spilling details of Emily’s kiss to Daniel, Ashley is perfectly poised to break out of the shadows in Season 2. “[This season] she’s getting her Ashley, basically,” says Madewke. “She’s getting her version of Ashley. She’s called Eve, someone to run around after me with an iPad... I think Ashley’s ambition is to become as powerful and as rich as she can. Gabriel Mann as ...After using and abusing Nolan a tad bit too often in Season 1, will Emily be nicer to her confidante and helper in Season 2? "I hope so,” jokes Mann. “I can't imagine things will change too drastically, but I did get a hug at least in the finale. I’m hoping to expand on that some. You'll see a new and different Nolan [this season]. He got real tired of getting beaten up last year, I'm just saying..." How different will Nolan be? For one, expect a potential new love interest in the role of Padma, a beautiful and talented employee at Nolan’s company played by Dilshad Vadsaria.
