About These Terms and Conditions

These Additional Terms and Conditions for Purchased Content (“Terms") set forth additional terms and conditions applicable to your purchase of video content from Comcast through your XFINITY TV Service (“Purchased Content"). These Terms apply only to Purchased Content, and not any other XFINITY Services, including, but not limited to, rental video-on-demand or pay-per-view content. For purposes of clarification, Purchased Content is an XFINITY Service, as that term is used in your Agreement for Residential Services, and is subject to all terms and conditions contained therein. In the event of a conflict between these Terms and your Agreement for Residential Services, these Terms shall control. Terms used, but not defined herein, have the meaning given in your Agreement for Residential Services.

Device Requirements

In order to view Purchased Content on devices other than XFINITY On Demand-enabled set-top-boxes, you will need to register a device that satisfies the minimum requirements set forth here. Comcast may change these requirements from time to time with or without notice to you. You are responsible for checking the requirements page for updates. Whether a device satisfies the requirements of a Compatible Device depends on a number of factors outside of Comcast's control, including the software and systems provided or maintained by the device manufacturer or other third parties. Devices that are Compatible Devices at one time may cease to be Compatible Devices in the future.

You can register up to three (3) Compatible Devices per XFINITY Service account. Your XFINITY set-top-boxes do not count against this limitation. To manage or remove registered devices, open the XFINITY On Demand Purchases application on your mobile device or download the XFINITY On Demand Player client on your computer, select "Settings", and then chose the "Unregister Device" option. You may also manage or remove devices from the Devices tab within the Store Settings at http://xfinitytv.comcast.net/mytv/store.

In order to view Purchased Content, you may be required to download and install additional software on your Compatible Devices, such as XFINITY mobile applications or third-party device-management PC software ("Access Software"). If the Compatible Device does not allow Comcast to automatically update the Access Software, you are responsible for ensuring that the Access Software is up to date. If the Compatible Device allows Comcast to automatically update the Access Software, you agree that Comcast may update, upgrade, or change the Access Software remotely, and may make related changes to the settings and software on your Compatible Device, as necessary to support your viewing of Purchased Content. You will only use the Access Software in connection with viewing Purchased Content, and no other purpose. Your use of the Access Software is governed by the terms of any license that accompanied its download and/or installation, or if no such license was present, the license available here.

Usage Rules

You, and all other user accounts associated with your XFINITY Service, may not collectively stream more than three (3) pieces of Purchased Content at any given time. You may not have more than three (3) devices (not counting XFINITY set-top boxes), registered to your XFINITY Service, at any given time.

All purchases of Purchased Content are final. No substitutions, exchanges, or refunds. To learn more about restricting the ability to purchase or rent content through XFINITY set-top-boxes, click here.

You shall not circumvent, remove, alter, deactivate, or degrade any of the content protections applied to the Purchased Content (including any registered device).

Cross-Platform & Parental Controls

You acknowledge and agree that all content purchased through your XFINITY set-top-boxes may be available to other users and user accounts associated with your XFINITY Service account number, on any XFINITY set-top-box or Compatible Device used by those users. Similarly, all content purchased through the XFINITY website and mobile apps by you, or any user or user account associated with your XFINITY Service, may be available on your XFINITY set-top-boxes.

License

When you "purchase", "buy", or "own" Purchased Content, that content is not sold to you, rather it is licensed to you as follows:

Subject to your payment of all applicable fees, and subject to your compliance with these Terms, your Agreement for Residential Services, and any other terms or conditions imposed by the applicable digital rights management technology used to protect the Purchased Content, Comcast grants you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to access and view the Purchased Content for your personal, residential, non-commercial use, for so long as Comcast makes the Purchased Content available. Except for the foregoing limited license, no right, title or interest in any Purchased Content is transferred to you. You agree that this license does not permit you to copy (in whole or in part), sell, rent, lease, distribute, broadcast, sublicense, transfer, or otherwise assign any portion of any Purchased Content and/or any rights or license associated with any Purchased Content (including without limitation, any code or credentials that allow access to any Purchased Content).

Availablility

Content that is purchased on one device, such as an XFINITY set-top box, may not immediately be available for viewing on other XFINITY devices, such as XFINITY websites or mobile applications. Purchased Content may become unavailable due to any number of reasons, including, but not limited to, content provider licensing and other restrictions, and Comcast will not be liable to you if Purchased Content becomes unavailable for further use, at any time. If your purchase includes the ability to download Purchased Content, we encourage you to download that content immediately after purchase. You bear the responsibility for completing download and for all risk of loss of the Purchased Content.

Cancelling Your XFINITY TV Service

If you cancel your XFINITY TV Service, Purchased Content will no longer be available to you through XFINITY set-top-boxes or on XFINITYTV.com. Purchased Content may continue to be available through the XFINITY On Demand Purchases store, available here, and through mobile devices on which you have installed, signed in, and registered the XFINITY On Demand Purchase app prior to your cancellation. After you can cancel XFINITY TV Service, you will not be able to register additional mobile devices with the XFINITY On Demand Purchases app. You must register on this site and within this app, within 60 days of canceling your XFINITY TV Service in order to continue to access your Purchased Content.
