The Emmy nominations were announced last week and as usual, the internet reacted accordingly. TV critics, bloggers, and the general denizens of pop culture took to Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and every other social media outlet to let the world know what they thought of the newly announced nominees—but the biggest focus, as expected, was who got snubbed. You gotta figure any actor in town wants to get involved in a Ryan Murphy project. Just ask the cast of “Glee” or “American Horror Story.” Cheyenne Jackson, the newly-single Broadway star with a growing TV and film resume has been added to the cast of Open, a pilot Murphy is doing for HBO.
