The Emmy nominations were announced last week and as usual, the internet reacted accordingly. TV critics, bloggers, and the general denizens of pop culture took to Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and every other social media outlet to let the world know what they thought of the newly announced nominees—but the biggest focus, as expected, was who got snubbed. After a long weekend, I am ready to get back to work and have a productive few days before it’s time to relax again!
Thanks to “The Bachelor” and the return of “The Fosters” last night, my week is already off to a great start! It’s probably best that I pace myself because there’s a whole lot of TV to watch tonight, and we need to make sure your DVR gets some exercise as well.
Many of you are looking forward to a long weekend, and as you can imagine, there will be a lot of funtastic content available on TV and On Demand. But let’s not get ahead of ourselves, I will have all the scoop on what you can’t miss later this week.
Happy Tuesday chicos! It’s not even lunchtime yet but I’m already anxious for it to be 5pm so I can go home and relax. I hate missing out on the daytime talk shows but they’re always waiting for me on the DVR or I find them on Xfinity On Demand.

One of the most improved comedies of last season, Fox’s “The Mindy Project,” returns on Sept. 17 at 9:30/8:30c for its second-season premiere. Everyone’s favorite OB-GYN, Mindy Lahiri (Mindy Kaling), has embarked on a trip of self-discovery doing good in Haiti with her boyfriend, Casey (Anders Holm), but the practice she left behind is thriving in New York City thanks to Dr. Paul Leotard (James Franco), the miracle-worker doctor with model-good looks — seriously, he was actually a model.
