Tell me there’s something in the water because there’s no excuse for the entertainment foolishness I’m sharing with you today. “Scandal” star Columbus Short apparently lost his damn mind, a “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star gets booked on assault charges and a rapper cuts of his penis and attempts suicide. I can’t make this stuff up! But here’s some good news: Gary Dourdan will be joining “Being Mary Jane” and “Glee.” And there’s also my watchlist and what’s hot (and not). Enjoy!

Happy Hump Day! I have a few things for you to nipple on today, including Kerry Washington dishing on what we can expect from “Scandal’s” season three finale Thursday, who’ll be stopping by Maya Rudolph’s new variety show and why Whoopi Goldberg dropped 30 pounds. Also, take a peek at my watchlist and what’s hot (and not). Enjoy!
We’re one day away from wrapping up the week, aren’t you excited?! Let’s kick off the night with some comedy from the talented cast of “The Big Bang Theory” on CBS at 8pm. All of these shows are available to watch online and most with XFINITY On Demand™.

What a year to remember. The 2013-2014 film season will undoubtedly go down as a highlight for black TV and film. Lupita Nyong’o won her Oscar as did Steve McQueen, as a producer for “12 Years a Slave,” and John Ridley for penning that movie’s screenplay.
So much has happened this past year and like many headlines, my year was filled with laughs and cries, yet I’m still here and very grateful (doesn’t that sound like a pulpit testimony?). Hey, the way I see it, we survived 2012 and will apparently make it out of 2013 OK, too.
Happy Jueves mi gente! I know I drive you all a bit loco with my Thursday “Scandal” watching obsession, but tonight is the winter finale entitled, “A Door Marked Exit.”
