Premium cable networks HBO and Showtime fought for supremacy in the Golden Globes TV awards Sunday with three honors each for the CIA thriller “Homeland and “Game Change,” the movie about Sarah Palin’s ascent from obscurity to 2008 vice presidential candidate.
Here come the “Girls” of HBO for their long-awaited second season. We caught up with some of the show’s cast (plus two producers) and they told us what we can expect.
There has been a lull. Talk of “Girls” settled down after its bombshell first season as fans took the opportunity to catch their breath.
Where once the post-holiday schedule was a blizzard of chilly reruns, January is aburst with premieres and finales. Already, the much-adored British miniseries “Downton Abbey” has made its much-awaited season return Sundays on PBS.
