Cynthia Nixon Looks Into Her Past On ‘Who Do You Think You Are?’

On Wednesday night’s season premiere episode of “Who Do You Think You Are?,” out actress Cynthia Nixon (Sex And The City” “Hannibal) dives into her family’s past to get some unanswered questions. What she finds out about her paternal ancestors will be shocking as she uncovers a dark secret involving a deceit and murder in relation to her 3x great-grandmother.

In addition to this season’s new episodes, TLC has also acquired all the episodes from previous seasons that aired on NBC. Future encores of those episodes include Lisa Kudrow and Rob Lowe on 7/30, Gwyneth Paltrow on 8/6, Brooke Shields on 8/13, Vanessa Williams on 8/20, Rita Wilson on 8/27, and Reba McEntire and Tim McGraw on 9/3. The series is exec produced by Kudrow as well as Alex Graham, Lucy Carter, director Don Roos  and actor/writer Dan Bucatinsky.

TLC’s “Who Do You Think You Are?” airs Wednesdays at 9pm.
