Monday July 21:
In the searing heat of New Mexico, Gordon Ramsay checks in to the Meson De Mesilla, a place that looks more like a penitentiary than a luxury boutique hotel. On arrival, he is asked to sign a waiver to promise he won’t damage the walls, and things go quickly downhill from there. He meets the hotel’s owner, Cali Szczawinski, and soon discovers that she’s more interested in singing than managing the hotel – a lot more interested.
Tuesday July 22:
It’s the perfect recipe for the ultimate food battle when the best amateur cooks in America put their signature dishes to the test against five professional chefs in this high-stakes culinary game. Armed only with their treasured family recipes, they’ll square off against an expert chef who will have to cook the same dish. The completed dishes will then be sampled in a blind taste test by culinary judges known as “The Dinner Party.” If the home cook wins, they earn a cash prize.
Sixteen talented special effects make-up artists arrive to Los Angeles, only to discover they are not on the show just yet, and will compete in a Sudden Death challenge where they must create a character that represents either life or death. After facing the judges, two artists are eliminated before ever moving into the Face Off house or stepping into the lab. Freddy Krueger himself, actor Robert Englund, makes an appearance and offers advice on creating a convincing makeup.
Thursday July 24:
Catherine is experiencing hallucinations and refuses Dr. Hartramph’s urging to be admitted into a hospital. Her behavior is becoming increasingly manic and it isn’t long before Mahmoud begins to piece together what she’s seeing. Meanwhile, Bickman is reluctant to go back into the operating room after Joey’s botched surgery.
Chef Ramsay sets the stage for the remaining two contestants when he throws them into the ring to prepare five unique dishes for the final challenge, which will be judged by five of the most renowned chefs in Los Angeles. Later, with the help of former Hell’s Kitchen contestants, the two chefs prepare their menus for the most important dinner service of their life. After an epic battle in the kitchen during the final dinner service, only one chef will be crowned Hell’s Kitchen winner and receive a life-changing grand prize: a Head Chef Position at one of Gordon Ramsay’s restaurants.
Project Runway is creating a one of a kind, full-season experience with Instagram which kicked off with #RunwayRedemption. Offering one past designer the chance to come back to the workroom and compete in season 13 fans were able to vote on their favorite designer’s “InstaPortfolio” choosing from former season favorites Ken Laurence (Season 12) Alexander Pope (Season 12) and Amanda Valentine (Season 11). The victorious designer will be revealed in the premiere episode to compete against 18 Project Runway newbies.
