Veronica Mars

Following a successful theatrical release that was spurred into development by a record-breaking Kickstarter campaign, ‘Veronica Mars‘ is now available on Blu-ray and DVD from Warner Bros. Home Entertainment. Based on Rob Thomas’ beloved television series and inspired by demand from fans, ‘Veronica Mars’ stars Kristen Bell as a former high-school sleuth who thought she left her past behind her, until a murder in her home town pulls her back into her old life. Directed by the television series’ creator Rob Thomas from a screenplay by Thomas & Diane Ruggiero, ‘Veronica Mars’ also stars Jason Dohring, Krysten Ritter, Ryan Hansen, Francis Capra, Percy Daggs III, Chris Lowell, Tina Majorino and Enrico Colantoni, all returning to the roles they originated in the television series. Veronica heads back to Neptune just to help Logan find an attorney, but when things don’t seem right with how Logan’s case is perceived and handled, Veronica finds herself being pulled back into a life she thought she had left behind. Agatha Christie’s Poirot

With the summer 2014 premiere of Series 13, David Suchet will have portrayed Agatha Christie’s iconic detective Hercule Poirot for 25 years, encompassing all 70 stories Christie wrote featuring Poirot. Acorn has debuted the newly remastered ‘Agatha Christie’s Poirot,’ Series 12 on Blu-ray and DVD, featuring the star-studded Murder on the Orient Express. Series 12’s four TV movies premiered on PBS’s Masterpiece Mystery! in 2010-2011. The DVD and Blu-ray sets include all four mysteries, restored to their original U.K. broadcast order, the documentary David Suchet on the Orient Express (47 min.), and SDH subtitles. In March 2014, David Suchet was awarded Royal Television Society’s prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award for his extraordinary 25 years as Poirot. Maverick

Truth

Left of Center Entertainment and Border 2 Border Entertainment are excited to announce that Rob Moretti’s ‘Truth’ is now available on DVD. Sixty years after the Brown v. Board of Education decision, revisit the historic civil rights Supreme Court case in the spellbinding drama ‘Separate But Equal,’ starring legendary actor, Sidney Poitier. Following the events that led to the pivotal decision, the powerful movie based on a true story is now available on DVD from CBS Home Entertainment and Paramount Home Media Distribution. Portraying the future Supreme Court Justice Thurgood Marshall, Poitier is joined by Richard Kiley and Burt Lancaster, in his final role. Call Me Crazy

‘Call Me Crazy: A Five Film,’ the gripping, yet hopeful Lifetime original movie that brings new understanding to what happens as a loved one struggles with mental illness, is now available on DVD from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment. An extension of the much-lauded Five franchise that started in 2011, this series of five, interwoven short films, each named for its main character, originally premiered on April 20 to more than 1.3 million viewers. Hot Guys with Guns
