We are only a few days away from the big return of “Devious Maids,” so now is the perfect time to re-watch the series. From the creator of “Desperate Housewives,” Marc Cherry brings another season full of drama featuring five of the today’s hottest Latina stars including Ana Ortiz, Roselyn Sanchez, Edy Ganem, Judy Reyes, and Dania Ramirez.

By the time the thirteenth episode unveiled Flora’s (Paula Garces) murderer, audiences had witnessed the bond that grew between five maids from Beverly Hills who are as clever and as witty (if not more so) their high class employers. The dark dramedy had many great sublots, but the one that will be taking us into season two is Peri Westmore’s (Mariana Klaveno) revenge against Rosie (Dania Ramirez) for sleeping with her husband Spence (Grant Show). Speaking of Spence, in the premiere we discover he has no idea why his Latina love was allegedly deported.

Carmen (Roselyn Sanchez) returns as Alejandro’s (Matt CedeƱo) newly minted girlfriend. She might be charming all the new Hollywood celebrities she is mingling with, but Odessa (Melinda Page Hamilton) won’t prove as easy to impress. She feels like she’s been backstabbed, so I am not sure she will be willing to play ball anytime soon.

Not to give too much away but one of the girls finds love while another one is going through a breakup. Tune in to the season premiere entitled, “An Ideal Husband,” directed by Eva Longoria, at 10pm on Lifetime.
